Course Summary
In this 30-hour course, participants will build their confidence and develop the knowledge and skills they need to train teachers working in different educational contexts. They will learn how teachers learn and develop, how to evaluate, design and run training sessions, and how to observe teaching and give feedback.
The course is designed for experienced teachers and draws on participants’ existing knowledge of the classroom to assist in their progression from teacher to trainer. Participants each receive a copy of the Cambridge Professional Learning book From Teacher to Trainer, which acts as a resource and reference during the course, and as a source of continued guidance once the course has ended.
